Total Lunar Eclipse 2025

Total Lunar Eclipse

On March 13/14, 2025, skywatchers across North America were treated to a stunning total lunar eclipse. As the Earth aligns between the Sun and the Moon, the lunar surface immersed in the Earth's shadow, creating a dramatic transition from bright silvery hue to captivating shades of red and orange. This phenomenon, often referred to as a "Blood Moon," offers a unique opportunity for observers to witness the interplay of light and shadow in our celestial neighbourhood. I captured the event spanning several hours and created this composite of each of the stages.
